RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Understand and adhere to established polices, standards and procedures. Work on moderate to complex problems requiring a thorough analysis of inputs and data. Collaborate with project teams on establishing and maintaining subcontracting plans for each assigned project, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met. Engage with new and potential suppliers, including administering the new supplier general prequalification and diversity questionnaire, ensuring that new supplier information is updated in Share Point Lead the coordination of subcontractor general and project specific prequalification, both in ISN and on paper for non-ISN subcontractors. Duties include but not are not limited to, weighted evaluations, SharePoint updates, ISN subcontractor connection and variance requests, reporting on qualification results, collaborating with various departments on oversite and approval procedures. Maintain detailed records of all transactions in accordance with established tracking and filing procedures. Manage subcontract formation from implementation to close-out for a variety of complex agreements including master agreements, subcontracts and professional services. Collaborate with technical legal and risk teams, ensuring compliance with establish procedures. Analyze prime contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure subcontract compliance. Lead the clarification & negotiation process ensuring all correspondence, inputs and data is tracked and filed in accordance with established procedures. Work with project teams and accounting to ensure effective administration of subcontracts, including overall understanding of agreement, change management, notices, management and retention of documentation, invoicing, warranty, insurance, bonding, holdbacks, close out, etc. Have a working knowledge of lien act and prompt payment legislation in Canadian provinces and work with the project team to ensure procedures for retention and release of statutory holdbacks are followed in accordance with provincial requirements. Establish and maintain preferred subcontractor and professional services master agreements. Maintain subcontract tracking logs including file numbers, agreement expiry dates, qualification status, supplier feedback status, diversity status, projects start and end dates, insurance expiry dates, etc. Prepare agreement award summaries for senior management, ensuring that any deviations from standard terms and conditions are noted stating justification for the variance. Collaborate with Insurance/Risk on insurance and risk reviews. Undertake assigned projects relating to the Contracting function.
REQUIREMENTS 3-5 years related experience is required (preference to those with contracts formation backgrounds) Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word and MS Excel. Experience and/or training in ISNetWorld (ISN) and SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills. Time management skills and attention to detail. Customer service and discretion. Ability to manage multiple tasks work effectively with tight deadlines and short timeframes. Ability to think critically and make sound decisions, even without complete information. Ability to work collaboratively and build constructive relationships.
  DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Experience in the construction industry, preferably in pipeline, power, pipe services, trenchless crossings, or tunnel construction. LANGUAGES Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English. BENEFITS
