In this role, you’ll designunderground utilities, roads, drainage systems and various infrastructures, aswell as manage projects in the following sectors: heavy industry, mining andmetallurgy, energy, petrochemicals, environment, sustainable development andothers.

An overview of your mandates and responsibilities

Produce design plans and specifications for projects. Design underground utilities, roads, storm drainage systems, retention basins and various infrastructures. Help plan, organize and assess work.
Prepare estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, budgets, specifications and reports. Ensure quality control of work performed by engineers and technicians. Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives. Coordinate a team of infrastructure engineers and technicians. Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, etc.). Assess engineering hours and prepare proposals.

Overview of job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 4 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure design, including roads, underground utilities and storm water management Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec Knowledge of SWMM and EPANET modelling software Knowledge of Civil 3D design software Valid ASP Construction card or willingness to train for one Asset: Bilingual (English and French)
