Title: Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: Business Days + Possible extension

Job Description: + years’ experience developing Test Cases/Scripts and Data Requirements, develop test scenarios, test cases for manual testing. + years’ experience develops test cases/scripts as well as test data, ensuring all of the Business requirements are met by creating a traceability matrix. + years’ experience developing technical testing strategies / plans. + years’ experience testing non-functional requirements ( fail-over, component response times, data integrity, security) + years’ experience executing testing activities for a number of types of testing such as: Integration testing Unit testing Regression testing Functional testing Accessibility testing Non-functional testing Demonstrated experience in developing test plans, test scripts and test data; documenting software defects and tracking resolutions. Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions. Experience with agile methodology. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent meeting facilitation skills to gather requirements. Experience reporting progress on deliverables to team, project leads and management, including proactively raising risks/issues with mitigations. Strong stakeholder management skills Demonstrated experience working with clients and technical teams to ensure effective resolution of defects and management of change requests are complete. Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions Experience in quality assurance at the specified experience level. Experience in testing Commercial off the Shelf Software (COTS/SaaS solutions), preferably Oracle Siebel Public Sector Working knowledge of SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Perl and related scripting technologies for automation Knowledge and experience in the use of test tools and methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Iterative) Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills, verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Product cycle (functional & non-functional) testing experience Test case & Test Scenario design and review experience (from business requirements) Test case development experience. Experience in defect tracking. Test scenarios (use-cases) design and review. Experience in writing manual/automated test scripts. Must Haves: + years’ experience developing Test Cases/Scripts and Data Requirements, develop test scenarios, test cases for manual testing. + years’ experience executing testing activities for a number of types of testing such as: Integration testing Unit testing Regression testing Functional testing Accessibility testing Non-functional testing Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions. Working knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) Experience in testing Commercial off the Shelf Software (COTS/SaaS solutions), preferably Oracle Siebel Public Sector
