We are looking for you OZZ Electric BC is an industry leading contractor working on exciting highrise residential and commercial projects across the lower mainland. You will join our growing team to support your site crew in all electrical activities to help build state-of-the-art projects for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Apprentice you will be responsible for:Installing various electrical equipment including sub-panels and transformers, lighting, raceway systems, heating andcooling systems, and motorsMeasuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduitPulling wire through conduitTesting circuits to ensure integrity and safetyEnsuring maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protection equipmentEDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTSSafety-first attitudeGeneral knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local requirementsGood communication skillsApprentice Electrician ticket, completion of an electrical foundations or ELTTProgram (not required)Experience in high-rise residential construction (an asset)

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsTypical 5-day work week; overtime may be required to meet construction deadlinesLocal work in the lower mainlandBenefits provided by CIBP
