Regina, SK • ID: 9014-046 • Full-Time/RegularBrandt Group of Companies is currently looking for a Finite Element Analysis Engineer to join our Engineering team in Regina, SK. Under the direction of the Product Validation Manager, the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer is responsible for creating 3D Models, performing meshing & Finite Element (FE) modeling, interpreting FEA results, optimizing designs, supporting development of simulation procedures/methodologies, and assisting the department in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform non-linear and high-fidelity FEA. Develop, maintain, and execute FEA R&D projects and coordinate cross functional team efforts. Validate FEA models through data acquisition focusing on load case and critical areas. With the help testing engineers utilize existing test protocols or develop new protocols as needed to generate accurate FEA load set ups. Provide design insights for product optimization. Other specialized tasks and projects may be assigned from time to time.#LI-onsite
Required Skills
Engineering Degree and a minimum of five years related experience. Professional Engineer or E.I.T status is an asset. Extensive knowledge of 3D Mechanical design software such as SolidWorks. Familiarity with ANSYS. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. Logical thought process with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent work ethic.KPI’S
Producing FEA validation plan deliverables. Correlation of FEA analysis to “real-world”. Compilation of Design Criteria database. Compilation of comprehensive test reports and provision of product optimization options to design engineers-
