A DAY IN THE LIFE 
In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. You will be based out of this site near Britt, ON. You will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8- hours a day. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). We have just renewed our contract for years. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day. This site has great opportunities to be able to grow within Vestas.

MORE ABOUT YOU 
✓ You will need a safety-focused mindset
✓ Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
✓ You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
✓ You will have a high school diploma or equivalent and will bring a year of wind experience or have a wind degree/certificate or 2-3 years of transferrable composite, mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
