Delivery Driver

Shift: Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am to 4:00pm with occasional overtime

Location: Delta, BC (on site)

Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

If you are a self starter, who demonstrates excellent leadership skills, can multitask various activities, allocate resources towards delivery deadlines, has an eye for 100% accuracy of daily task completion, is comfortable with physical delivery, and enjoys being on the road this position may be for you

Assure the transportation of products to meet delivery deadlinesDeliver appliances according to policies and procedures regarding delivery standards, damages and health and safetyCheck items on floor against daily delivery manifest, loading products and report any difference to warehouse supervisorConduct physical delivery of productPick-up and return appliances from customers to warehouseEnsure exceptional customer experience and give customer contact centre information to help them resolve and concernsComply with provincial safety lawsMaintain delivery vehicle, ensure it is clean both inside and outsideMake sure handheld device is working properly ---report any issue to the ManagerBe flexible with schedule to accommodate extended deliveries and or traffic Complete heavy lifting

One to two years of experience operating 5 ton truck or largerFurniture/ appliance mover experienceExcellent communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsValid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
