Position and Responsibilities

Reporting to technical services, you are responsible for the supervision of the radiation and environment technicians while ensuring that the monitoring/sampling requirements of the environmental and radiation programs are effectively met.

Responsibilities will include: 

Scheduling and planning R&E technician tasks Overseeing R&E technician training, training sign-offs and JTOs Supporting the respirator fit test schedule and fit test training for technicians Supporting SHEQ groups with tasks such as equipment support, dosimeter badge shipments and contractor management 

Education and Qualifications

Three year college diploma related to radiation protection, environment and/or safety  Three to five years supervisory experience in a continuous processing environment Experience in radiation safety and working with radiation measuring equipment Experience in environmental processes Strong problem solving skills Attention to detail Self-starter able to multitask effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong team player Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP Clear background check
