Hendriks Greenhouses is looking for high-energy, full-time and part-time production labourers to join our team

Duties performed in this position include:

  • Prepare work area daily and communicate with other departments about materials needed.
  • Ensuring quality of crops are maintained (watered and good quality/staging).
  • Reporting if crops do not meet quality specifications prior to processing.
  • Working with other team members to ensure orders are filled correctly and timely according to customer specifications (i.e. planting, potting, tagging, propping, sleeving orders).
  • Assisting in unloading pots and stickering UPC labels.
  • Always maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other general labour duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Steel toe safety shoes are required
  • Successful candidates must have their own reliable transportation
  • Willing to work longer hours and Saturdays, during our peak periods
  • Working in the heat/cold, standing for long periods of time, bending and lifting
