Combustion Specialist

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

Communicates with various branches regarding the submission of field reports and combustion services. Prepares formal combustion reports for clients and internal use. Consults with PTW branches regarding the field codes and environmental emissions. Reports to the management regarding combustion service performance of each Branch. Recommends improvements and upgrades regarding the combustion equipment and service. Performs a variety of business administration duties. Performs all combustion services duties and attends to all the needs in the field. Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health and Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Preference given to those with gas fitting ticket or those who are willing to attain a gas fitting ticket immediately. Strong understanding of the practical and theoretical concepts of combustion. Strong knowledge of applicable codes and regulations. Knowledge of environmental regulations (ability to understand EPA standards) Must be familiar with field combustion equipment and its uses. Must be familiar with combustion services in the gas industry. Preference given to those with environmental experiences. Excellent communication and computer skills Proven ability to work well with a team is essential Must be able to pull a trailer 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Travel is required for this role Must have valid class 5 driver's license, or equivalent.
