Stage One Academy is a private arts academy that focuses on training children aged from 3 to 18 to help them develop social and performance skills, gain confidence and finally realize their dreams in the future. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about music education, and capable of inspiring students of all ages. As a Music Teacher at Stage One Academy Inc., you will play a crucial role in developing our students' musical abilities and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Meeting with clients to perform vocal assessments and determine their needs and goals. 
  • Structuring lessons for individuals or groups for sessions with clients. 
  • Guiding clients through lessons using a range of vocal techniques and exercise. 
  • Teaching students how to sing acapella or with a music accompaniment. 
  • Teaching interpretation of music styles and music theory. 
  • Establishing professional, long-lasting relationships with clients. 
  • Preparing clients for concerts and competitions. 
  • Arranging lessons and teaching local community choir. 
  • Attending and participating in company arranged profit and non-profit events.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field is a plus.
  • At least 6 months teaching experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in multiple musical instruments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
  • Knowledge of music theory and history.
  • Experience preparing students for performances and exams is a plus.
