Every week, we process more than 3 million pounds of meat, making us one of the largest meat manufacturing facilities in Canada.Shift Details:Full-time, permanentNight Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:30 amPay Rate:$41.90/hr*OT rate (1½) paid after 44 hoursMonday – Friday, some SaturdaysPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The Electrician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance throughout the plant on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures. General ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair production equipment, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment and services. Support the plant stationary engineers in keeping the refrigeration system workingas well as the boilers, wells, compressors and waste water plant. Support production processes as needed. Have an understanding of PLC, Servos to support manufacturing processes, suchas assembly lines.Complete electrical installations to meet company and ESA standards. Education, Training or Work Experience309 or 442A Industrial Electrical license. At least three years’ Canadian experience in a manufacturing environment wouldbe an asset. Experience working in a food plant and the requirements of HACCP Key SkillsProven mechanical aptitude Reliability and punctualityReliable attendance Able to work in a team environment Able to work independently Provide own hand tools Reliable transportation Can perform repetitive tasks Positive attitude Cold environment Good Organizational skills Excellent Communication skills Attention to detail Able to read electrical drawings Able to do physically demanding work with heavy lifting (30 kg) Can work in fast-paced environment
