IPG Photonics (NASDAQ:IPGP) is looking for a C# Software Developer to join our agile software development team in Kingston, Ontario, Canada . You will be working on cutting-edge projects that involve integrating our company’s laser scanning and process monitoring products for feedback control and defect detection in advanced laser processing applications.

As a C# Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

Leading software projects that include defining project scopes, building project teams, designing and implementing features, and supporting product integration Collaborating with two IPG software development teams to ensure seamless integration between our laser scanning and process monitoring products Applying your strong C# and software architecture knowledge to create robust and scalable solutions

Responsibilities

Designing, planning, and executing C# development projects aimed at advancing integration between our company’s two leading software products Leading software development project teams Mentoring junior developers and advising on software architecture implementations and development best practices Providing integration support and testing

Requirements

Excellent learning, communication, and teamwork abilities 3-5 years of professional C# software development experience A strong preference is given to candidates with degrees in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics Extensive experience with software architecture, design patterns, and object oriented programming (OOP) best practices Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrent programming Experience leading software development projects is a benefit Strong interest in software development for industrial applications Must be authorized to work in Canada
