Bureau Veritas is looking for an

ENVIRONMENTAL LABORATORY SAMPLE RECEIVER

This is a Contract position May 1 to December 27, 2024

As a SAMPLE RECEIVER, your responsibilities are:

Responsible for receiving environmental samples from clients and couriers, unpacking, inspecting and labeling samples.

Follow Standard Operating Procedures. Greet Clients and Receive Samples Unpacking sample coolers and inspection of samples. Log samples into the Laboratory Information Management System Label Samples Inspect Jobs Distribute samples to the Lab Help with Archiving Other duties as required

Availability for shift work, OT and weekend work required

You are an ideal SAMPLE RECEIVER if you have [Minimum Requirements]:

You have a post-secondary school education (. preferred). You have knowledge of standard operating procedures and instrumental techniques. You have good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills. You have the ability to do repetitive tasks with few errors. You have the ability to block out distractions and work under busy, stressful conditions. You can maintain a high level of work production in a fast paced lab environment.
