Job Description:The Residential Landscape Construction Foreperson is in charge of managing a crew of 3-5 people on residential job sites. Work includes planting trees, grass, and gardens, laying driveways and patios, and building walls, fences, etc.
Key duties include:
  • Drive company truck and trailer.
  • Installation of natural stone (flag, armour, etc).
  • Installation of interlock paving stone.
  • Installation of precast pavers and retaining walls.
  • Ability to dig holes (when needed), place soils, plant trees, and shrubs, etc.
  • Trim shrubs and evergreens.

Job Requirements:
  • Valid Driver’s License “G” is required.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management.
  • Experience in stone masonry is a strong asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices.
  • Meet with subcontractors and supervise quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Candidates must have keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday.
