National Continuous Improvement Manager

Your Role
The purpose of this Black Belt role is to serve as a benchmark in Lean Six Sigma knowledge and the efficient execution of projects. You will focus on championing and instilling a culture of continuous improvement across all Kuehne + Nagel business units at the national level. You will be accountable for fostering a culture of ongoing improvement throughout the company's national locations by demonstrating and diligently applying Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies across all sites.As an experienced Black Belt you will mentor and coach our Yellow and Green Belt personnel towards certification. Your guidance will be critical in cultivating a workforce that is fluent in Lean Six Sigma principles, thereby contributing significantly to the wider culture of continuous improvement within the Kuehne+Nagel organization. You will report to the National Finance IS Manager.
Your Responsibilities
Leading and facilitating in-depthValue Stream Analysis events to identify and address process inefficiencies,thereby equipping business unit leadership with a robust project pipeline forongoing improvement initiatives Monitoring and leading Continuous ImprovementEvents to drive efficiency and performance advances Delivering training for YellowBelts and providing support to the Master Black Belt during Lean Six Sigma Greenor Black Belt training Mentoring and coaching Yellow andGreen Belts practitioners on site, not only to help them achieve certification,but also to foster skill development and career advancement Executing a minimum of two BlackBelt projects each year, designed to significantly enhance operationalproductivity and efficiency, with the goal of achieving substantial costsavings Collaborating with finance tovalidate project cost savings, in accordance with the country's cost savingsgovernance guidelines Supporting and reporting onSustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing Energy Efficiency, Plastic FreeOperations, Waste Management, Water Conservation, as well as Employee Wellbeingand InclusionIf you require an accommodation for the recruitment /interview process (including alternate formats of materials, or accessible meeting rooms or other accommodation), please let us know and we will work with you to meet your needs.
Your Skills and Experiences
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required Certification in Lean Six SigmaBlack Belt methodology is required 8+ years of experience in quality management, process improvement or a related field 5+ years ofexperience in freight forwarding or banking industry is preferred 3+ years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt 3+ years ofexperience in a project management role Certification or experience as a Lean Sensei or equivalent is a plus Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar project management certification is a plus Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools, including value stream mapping, Kaizen and DMAIC Proficient in the use ofstatistical software, specifically tools such as Minitab or JMP
