About the Program
Aga Khan Park organizes three one-hour tours each week. Comprehensive training and a script will be provided to all team members.
About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities: Study and research plants and their life processes Conduct field research to study plants and their habitats Analyze data to identify trends, correlations, and other significant findings Prepare reports and present findings to colleagues and the public Maintain records and databases of research Participate in the evaluation of potential conservation areas Provide advice to decision-makers on plant ecology and conservation issues Develop environmental education materials for the public Collaborate with other professionals to analyze and interpret data Manage workshops.
About You
Skills and Competencies: Volunteers must have expertise and a background in botany, plant science, horticulture, agronomy, agriculture and/or gardening The ideal candidate has professional expertise with botanical concepts, principals, laws, and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Able to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors Knowledge and adherence of safety protocols-
