Job Requirements

What you will bring:

• A Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited technical college.
• 3+ years experience with urban roadway and/or highway construction inspection is required. Direct experience with Alberta Transportation and City of Calgary projects is preferred.
• Experience with traffic accommodation and familiarity with jurisdictional guidelines is an asset.
• Ability to proactively identify issues in the field and provide potential solutions to Project Manager and Designers.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in computer aided design and drafting of roadways projects.
• Proficiency in roadway design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with estimating, tender document preparation and contract administration is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to think quickly.
• Committed team player with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel within Canada.
