Description

:

We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to join our our Corporate Engineering department located in Brampton, ON. In this position, you will work in a multidisciplinary engineering team to execute capital expenditure and plant maintenance projects of varying sizes.

Responsibilities:

Development of project deliverables. These include, but are not limited to: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Equipment sizing, Equipment/Piping lists, Theory of Operation, and Commissioning/Functional Test Plans Visit site to collect data. Talk with operators and plant engineers to obtain key information about running facilities to help diagnose problems and find solutions to improve operational efficiency Supporting IKO’s core values and leadership behaviours

Qualifications:

Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited university 5+ years of experience working in a similar role Ability to work effectively within a team environment Experience with development of process documentation to be used for project execution and troubleshooting existing equipment Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to travel to the United States is a requirement P.Eng. certification is preferred
