Term of App't: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

Reporting to: Chief Information Officer


Salary:

Classification 8, $25.97 per hour, as per BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.56/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.

Description:

The Information Technology Department at Northern Lights College is looking to hire one seasonal staff member for a term of employment for the summer of 2024. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm.

The primary focus of this position will be to assist with the refreshing of labs, preparation of switches for auction, and backfilling for vacation leave.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in a Service Desk/Help Desk analyst role with experience in a customer service position
  • Must have general knowledge of hardware.
  • Be a current resident of, and legally authorized to work in, Canada; and
  • Have a current and valid Class 7 Drivers' License

PREFERRED:

  • Hold a Degree/Diploma in Networking/Computer Technology from a University /Technical Institution
