Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the main duties are:

  • Plan and manage trainers’ schedule, and vacations.
  • Plan and manage training schools, development groups, BPA (Bonus Performance Accelerator), mentors’ schools, training for Gaming Presenters and Game Show Hosts and and managers on new games.
  • Create and analyze monthly Academy KPIs.
  • Plan and deploy strategies to achieve global targets (any event that focuses on accelerating results).
  • Manage trainers’ performance, provide training, set goals, monthly follow up meetings and assign projects.
  • Maintain and communicate procedures alignment between Studios (be involved in all Jira tickets related to academy whether procedural changes or any other academy related topic where approval or feedback is needed).
  • Create, organize, and update training material (example; handbooks and online training portal).
  • Cooperate with HR/Talent Acquisition regarding quality of new hires and provide timely feedback.
  • Observe and analyze newcomers’ theoretical test score prior to releasing them from academy (graduation).
  • Plan and follow Academy budget.
  • Collaborate with Technical Operations department by implementing additional training tables to address Studio growth/new games.
  • Troubleshoot for Academy training tables in cooperation with other relevant departments.
  • Monitor Uniform inventory when assigning uniforms for newcomers.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • A degree in education, business management, or a related field is typically required. A postgraduate degree or professional qualifications in educational leadership can be advantageous.

Experience

  • Experience in managing or developing training programs.
  • Leadership experience, preferably in an educational or training environment.
  • Experience handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and managing resources effectively.
  • Analytical and result-oriented personality 
  • Excellent game knowledge and proven track of successful experience in Evolution is preferred.


Additional Information

Salary range: 60k-63k CAD/Year
