As a First Officer, you will be delivering the WestJet guest experience, while ensuring a safe and on-time operation. You will lead by example with honesty, integrity and professionalism. Are you ready for your next adventure? Ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
- 2000 hours total time
- Minimum 500 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time and multi-crew experience, preferred
- Valid Transport Canada Group 1 Instrument Rating and Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Canadian citizenship or Canadian permanent resident
- All required visas or travel documents allowing for unrestricted travel to all the destinations we service
- Clear police background and criminal record check
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Offers of employment are conditional on passing a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening test
- Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) obtained prior to the completion of Initial Ground School
Candidates with experience and qualifications that exceed minimum requirements will be given preference. Examples of additional qualifications include but are not limited to s cheduled airline, military flight experience, glass cockpit, FMS, post-secondary education, aviation college degree or diploma.
