Risk Management Analyst

This role is based out of the CANDU Energy Inc. home office in Mississauga, ON .
Our expertise includes Nuclear Steam Plant (NSP) engineering, Balance of Plant (BOP) engineering, Plant Life Management and Extension, Retube Tooling Systems, Inspection and Maintenance Services, Steam Generator Replacement, Plant Equipment Refurbishment and Retrofits.
As a Risk Management Analyst, you will plan, coordinate, and document the project risk management process. Using your strong facilitation and quantitative analysis skills, you will ensure that risks are identified, evaluated, quantified, mitigated, and monitored following corporate policies and procedures. You will work with functional areas to identify business areas what can be improved to increase efficiency and strengthen business processes.
Your role within the team:
Lead risk identification workshops with multiple levels of the project team Work with management and joint venture partners to develop problem solving risk mitigation Partner with project team to monitor risk mitigations Work closely with planners to understand delivery expectations, identify potential risks and link risks to schedule activities Maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and current Analyzing risk and safety data to determine trends and key areas of focus Strengthen risk reporting through the use of statistical analysis Prepare internal and external progress reports to multiple stakeholders Generate lessons learned reports relating to risks Conduct risk evaluation using both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods Own the proposal/project risk management process and prepare risk management plans Liaise with the Engineering Risk and Insurance group to establish insurable risk profile Provide risk management training when required Continuously look for improvements to the risk management process Support the team when project is peer reviewed Administer the project risk management process and prepare risk management plans Implement risk management activities in compliance with best business practice and corporate procedures Utilize corporate systems and tools to support processesWhy choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

3-5 years of experience in risk management and 8 years of combined experience in the Engineering and Construction industry, either in Project Management, Contract Management, Engineering Management, Project Controls Management or Procurement Management. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High degree of proficiency with tools such as Excel and PowerBI to analyse large data sets Experience working with one or several software suites such as @Risk from Palisade, Active Risk Manager (ARM), Acumen and/or Primavera risk analysis (PRA) Excellent analytical, statistical and problem solving skills Persuasive strength with ability to motivate and lead Excellent facilitation skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Previous experience working on a mega project (+ $1billion, P3 projects)Are you up for this challenge?
