We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, FP&A - BI, Data & Analytics to join our growing organization. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for developing our Business Intelligence, data and analytics strategy. 

This role can be based from our Head Office in Downtown Toronto. This is an on-site position.

Job Overview:

As the Senior Manager of FP&A - Business Intelligence, Data and Analytics, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our company by developing our Business Intelligence, data and analytics strategy. You will leverage data to inform key business decisions and use automation tools to improve and streamline finance and operational processes. 

In this role, you will collaborate closely with operations and finance teams to gather data requirements, establish standard definitions, and develop a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be utilized across the organization. Additionally, you will work closely with the development team to build data definitions and dashboards tailored to our specific business needs. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the training and rollout of these dashboards to corporate and practice level staff, ensuring widespread adoption and utilization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with operations and finance teams to gather data requirements and understand business needsDevelop a comprehensive set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational objectives.Work closely with the development team to build data definitions, create intuitive and actionable dashboards and ensure accuracy of dataLead the training and rollout of dashboards to corporate and practice level staff, ensuring effective utilizationContinuously monitor and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementProvide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysisStay abreast of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analyticsIdentify and assess robotic process automation opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance productivityCreate a culture of data-driven decision making and innovation

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related fieldCPA designation strongly preferredMinimum of 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related fieldMust have experience in a multi-site environment within a large corporation

Required Skills & Abilities:

Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similarProficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and ETL processesExperience with Power QueryAdvanced Excel skills, including the use of functions, power query, pivot tables, and macros, to manage, analyze, and report dataExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsProven track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies that drive business resultsPrior experience in the healthcare or dental industry is a plusAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
