About the role
Our growing DevOps team is looking for a Senior Product Owner
You will take a leading role in developing our Platform As A Service to standardize , accelerate and facilitate their work within the technical lifecycle of a product.
What you'll do:
Lead the development effort by building the platform vision to an Agile delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value.
Be responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products.
Lead, plan, track and be accountable for all phases of the products life cycle from the beginning.
Propose new product ideas & design & develops concepts.
Communicate with stakeholders, internal and external, to define the product vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.
Follow-up with stakeholders on a need basis.
Inspire the team to deliver best-in-class products.
Be responsible for product evolution afterwards and technical debt.
Build and define a vision and long-term roadmap for the products in accordance with business and user needs and market trends.
Be also responsible to sell that vision to stakeholders.
What you bring:
College or bachelor’s degree in information technology or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
5-7 years of experience as Product Owner.
Expertise with CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with source code management.
Experience with K8S as the runtime and container orchestrator.
Experience with Vault as the secret manager, password storage, etc.
Excellent understanding of Agile and DevOps.
Knowledge with Helm technology: common deployment charts (asset).
Bilingualism (French and English) –Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
