Job Summary 

 

Provide data-driven insights through business intelligence systems to support decision-making within the Engineering, Facilities, and Validation (EFV) department and align capital and resource allocation within the business budget. The Analyst will also coordinate initiatives for financial planning and business intelligence systems.

 

Responsibilities

•    Provide analytical support to the EFV department by developing & maintaining reports and dashboards to provide insight into plant maintenance, quality and finance metrics, and capital projects.
•    Update and maintain visibility dashboards, track budgets and budget forecast using Power BI, Power Automate, Smartsheet, SAP & IBM Planning analytics.
•    Provide recommendations based on data analytics to support business decisions.
•    Monitor & report finance & quality metrics to leadership.
•    Support continues improvement initiatives by developing proper workflows, templates and standards to visualize and streamline processes.
•    Support roll-out of standard suite of tools within the organization; act as subject matter expert & coach to ensure platforms are successfully integrated into business.
•    Play a key role in the equipment life cycle and administration improvement within the SAP Plant Maintenance module and supporting facility resource planning and scheduling initiatives.

Education, Experience & Skills
•    Degree or Diploma in Business Studies/Administration, Finance, Information Technologies, Data Science, or a related discipline; will consider equivalent level of education, experience, and skills.
•    3+ years relevant work experience.
•    Advanced experience with Power BI, Excel, SAP, Smartsheet, Power Automate, Visio, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office applications. (essential)
•    Proficiency in Python for data analysis and working with Smartsheet API. (preferred)
•    Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
•    Understanding of Operational Excellence and Lean concepts considered an asset.
•    Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    Efficient time management skills.
