As a Dosimetrist IA, you will provide subject matter expertise of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of Radiation Oncology treatment, machines/equipment and procedures commonly used in Radiation Therapy and Brachytherapy. Your experience and technical knowledge will be instrumental in developing the delivery plan for radiation treatments, selecting radiation energy and other treatment parameters for the approval of the Radiation Oncologist. You will generate radiation dose calculation and distribution in collaboration with the medical physicist and Radiation Oncologist.

Description:

As a Dosimetrist I, you will work under the supervision of the Dosimetrist II. You will focus on the planning aspect of pre-treatment and work alongside therapists.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree of Science in Radiation Therapy or completion of Medical Radiation Therapy diploma and Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification, or equivalent. Six (6) months of experience in a radiation therapy department.

As required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of one year in treatment planning/Dosimetry.
