About the Role

SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for an Iron Technician. This role provides assembly and testing of various mechanical components.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Assists Iron Technicians during the disassemble phase Clean, strip and inspect all required flow control components Prepare flow control products for Gauging, Ultra Sonic, and MPI inspections Ability to demonstrate the disassemble of flow control products per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Ability to identify SPM and Customer product Ability to assemble flow control product Nondestructive Testing Trainee (NDT Trainee) Manifold tear down/rebuild trainee Demonstrates computer skills for the SPM AMP System Requires knowledge of SPM products and customer standards Inventory Incoming Iron Provides proper care and maintenance of all shop tools, equipment, and work area Monitors daily work activities to ensure requirements are met Performs other routine duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
