Job Description
Registered Dietitian - Temporary Part Time for 2 months (8 to 9 weeks), with possibility of extension
Assist the Executive Director in providing clinical leadership over dietetic care service that complies with evidence informed best practices, relevant government legislation, policies and standards that reflect the organization's resident centred approach, vision and strategic direction.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Dietetics or Applied Human Nutrition, (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Be a legally qualified Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Ontario Minimum 3 years experience, including experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Demonstrated ability and experience in building relationships, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary team Excellent problem recognition, analysis and resolution skills required Excellent time management skills required Excellent decision making and problem solving skills required Computer literacy required
Additional Information
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary part time position for 8 to 9 weeks, with possibility of extension Normal light physical activities, sitting, standing, comfortable walking, etc. Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact Occasional shift work, including days, evenings, and weekends Occasional travel and on-call responsibilitiesInterested applicants may apply by June , 4 by quoting reference number REFL.
