Reporting to the Senior Manager, Facilities, Canada, this position will act as the first point of contact when greeting our employees, clients, and vendors at the Saskatoon Nutrien office. This position ensures that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered in a professional, high quality and customer focused demeanor. 

What you will do:

Welcome and greet with a professional and polished manner, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Perform Switchboard management of high-volume calls Notify Nutrien contact of visitor arrival Customers, Employees from other Sites, Contractors, Board of Directors Maintain security by following procedures; issuing guest and temporary access cards; reporting suspicious individuals to security Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Send/receive intown courier packages and deliveries including invoice reconciliation and payment Perform exceptional communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills Have excellent Customer Service skills; be comfortable dealing with all levels of employees and the general public Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal Order stationery and business cards Handle weekly ordering of office and beverage supplies Participate in Emergency and Evacuation Procedures Perform Fleet Car management including employee bookings, recording expenses, scheduling maintenance, cleaning & service, reconciling receipts to statements/invoices for payment, tracking driver’s license & vehicle registration expiries Carry out administrative duties including work order submission for employee requests to Landlord, recording magazine publications & preparation for distribution, managing file boxes at offsite storage facility Request access card programming by Landlord as require Provide Mailroom relief to cover vacation, flex and sick days

What you will bring:

High School Diploma; Business Administration diploma would be considered an excellent asset 2+ years’ experience in a reception role Demonstrated working experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Word; ability to learn new programs/software quickly Professional appearance and manner Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure Must be a team player with solid communication skills both written and verbal
