Your challenge

What does a Yard Coordinator at Morgan Transit do?

Manage a team of 3 to 7 employees across two shifts. Train new team members. Coordinate truck inspection activities, complete transportation and non-compliance documents when necessary. Supply the installation and services departments with trucks within the requested time frame. Collaborate with the team leaders of the installation, service, and transportation logistics departments. Vigilantly ensure compliance with work methods and safety rules in outdoor areas. Resolve various issues that may hinder daily operations. Coordinate the movement of trucks inside and outside the building. Manage inventory and warehousing. Maintain order, cleanliness, and compliance in the yard. Greet truck carriers, ensure the accuracy of deliveries, and verify the quality of the received product (according to the purchase order and ERP system). Strategically place trucks and boxes in the yard according to production planning (first in, first out; location). Ensure the delivery of truck boxes and trucks with boxes to customers and carriers.
