Key Responsibilities:

Review Mechanical Flow Sheets and scope of supply and prepare master summary list utilizing Propak’s Lot / Split system. Prepare vessel/exchanger fabrication and piping material and labor estimates in accordance with in-house procedures and estimating templates. Prepare valve and instrumentation takeoffs and obtain competitive pricing from suppliers. Reviews, queries, and understands the scope of work, specifications, and standards. Attends fabrication estimates reviews with Management when required.

Qualifications:

A two-year diploma in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering Technology Training is available as required to enhance competencies as an Estimator.

Competencies:

Understands the scope of work, specifications / standards, material selection. Understands the fabrication / erection sequences and applies the same for estimation. Apply practical knowledge and develop broad based skills while contributing to the overall success of Propak’s operations through interaction with a cross functional team. Working with Engineers, understands the development of conceptual and detailed fabricated design. Undertakes effective daily planning and completes tasks on time. Maintains a professional attitude under times constraints, multiple tasks and changing priorities. Ability to interact with other trades, managers, directors. Ability to prepare quotes for vendors.
