Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, Red Deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you We're currently looking for Senior Home Centre Associates to join our dynamic team.

Position: Senior Home Centre Associate

Part-time:   24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:  Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and respond to customer questions Assist with opening and closing procedures  Familiarize yourself with our product range Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions Prepare and complete special orders and quotes Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits Assist in merchandise displays Ordering and receiving merchandise Manage inventory Perform sales calls with efficiency Participate in tasks such as loading products and cutting flooring Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

Building Estimating experience is considered an asset Exceptional attention to detail and quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Outstanding customer service and communication skills Team player with the ability to work independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
