As they continue to grow and strengthentheir support and managed services offerings they are seeking anexperienced Service Delivery Manager to join theirteam.
Role overview
Our client is looking for an experienced and talented DataSolution Architect who will help to grow their data delivery team:architecting designing and implementing largescale Data PlatformBusiness Intelligence (BI) and Analytics solutions for theirclients.
The roleis highly technical and requires a robust understanding and handsonexpertise of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies data architectureand modelling concepts. The role also demands strong analyticalproblem solving and planning skills. The role requires strongcommunication and collaboration skills and the motivation toachieve results in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements
- Minimum of three years working in a similarsenior role
- Experience in designing andimplementing Azure Data solutions using services suchas:
- Microsoft Fabric
- AzureSynapse Analytics
- AzureDatabricks
- Azure Data Lake StorageGen2
- Azure SQLDatabase
- Azure DataFactory
- Azure DevOps
- AzureStream Analytics
- Microsoft PowerBI
- Familiar with AzurePurview
- An understanding of Master DataManagement and Data Governanceframeworks
- Familiar with development approachessuch as CI/CD
- Familiar with AzureDevOps
- Strong communication and collaborationskills
- Strong analytical thinking andproblemsolving skills
- Ability to work as a teamplayer and leader in a diverse technicalenvironment
- Be customerserviceoriented
- Be able to work in a fastpacedchanging environment
- Proficient in spoken andwritten English
- Willing to travel across the UKand abroad when required
- Graduateleveleducation in Computer Science or a relevant field or a widelyrecognised professional qualification at a comparablelevel
- Formal training and/or certification onrelated technologies is highly valued
- Knowledgeof Common Data Models/Industry Data Models will be considered anasset
- Experience in OLAP technology and theMicrosoft onpremises BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS) will be useful butis not compulsory
- Knowledge of MicrosoftDynamics 365 products and the Microsoft Power Platform will beconsidered an asset
Responsibilities
- Architecting and overall endtoend designdeployment and delivery of Azure Data Platforms across Data LakesData Warehouses Data Lakehouses pipelines BI and Data Analyticssolutions
- Presales estimating and proposalwriting responding to RFPs
- Remaining up to datein new and emerging technologies
- Working withclients to develop data technology strategy and roadmaps and plandelivery
- Oversight and support of delivery teamoutputs
- Data modelling design andbuild
- Enforcing technical architecture anddocumentation standards policies andprocedures
- Analysing implementing and resolvingissues with existing Azure DataPlatforms
- Working with business experts andcustomers to understand business needs and translate businessrequirements into reporting and data analyticsfunctionality
- Assisting in scoping estimationand task planning for assignedprojects
- Following the project work plans tomeet functionality requirements project objectives andtimelines
- Providing accurate and completetechnical architectural documents
- Addressingcustomer queries and issues in a timelymanner
- Providing mentoring and hands onguidance to other team members
