Indirect Buyer

Position Summary:
Reporting to the NA Sr Manager, this role will provide procurement services to all indirect items / service requirements for the Scarborough facility.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Research select and purchase quality products and materials. Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing. Process requisitions and update management on status of orders. Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery. Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions. Select the best procurement alternative along with establishing the adequate commercial and logistics conditions. Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required. Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management. Negotiate price, logistic terms and commercial conditions for the tail Indirect Spend Provide timely solutions to all internal requisitions.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in International Business (Import-Export) or Industrial Engineer or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of related experience in purchasing activities. Must have inventory management knowledge. Must have proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint. What We Offer(*):
