What is the opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Communications Administration Co-op intern will be part of the communications team supporting daily work and ongoing projects. Working closely with the fast-paced communications team, the administrator will be responsible for assisting the team with executing various project initiatives that will provide valuable, real-world experience in the energy industry.

What will you do:

Help produce organization’s marketing and communications materialCurate social media content and assets for organization’s channelsConduct content reviews and editing for all external materialLiase with various vendors to develop and produce materialEnsure branding and style complianceEvent planning and logistics supportOther duties as required

What you need to succeed:

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism Strong writing and editing abilities; able to produce high-quality content with short deadlines, developing and executing professional communications products for a variety of audiencesAbility to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple requests while maintaining high degree of accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of all social media platformsHighly organized, task driven individual, with excellent attention to detailSelf-motivated, pro-active individual who can work independently as well as in a team

Approx. start date: September 3, 2024Posting Close Date: May 31, 2024Number of Openings: 1 Salary: $25.00/hour
