Marker-Grader positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. 

·Master’s Degree Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed a master’s degree.

·Undergraduate Degree Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed a four-year honours degree or a three-year pass degree.

·Third Year Complete ($ - Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree.

·Second Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree.

·First Year Complete ($ Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree

Duties

Duties and responsibilities will be in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. Assisting the marking of all assignments (note: all assignments are marked by Marker/Grader and posted to Sakai), term projects and/or midterm, progress and final examinations and any other related duties including
examination proctoring and entering grades into the University databases and maintaining grade sheets and entering grades into EXCEL spread sheets and Sakai.

Qualifications 

a) Masters degree in Tourism, Geography (tourism focus) or Psychology or enrolled in a Masters degree in Tourism, Geography (tourism focus) or Psychology.
b) Honours BA in Tourism or related areas with an overall average of 80% or higher or currently registered in a Honours BA Tourism Environment with an overall average of 80% or higher
c) Applicants must have the ability to perform the various duties of the position and be dependable and possess strong time management skills
d) Applicants must have intimate knowledge of Psychology of Tourist Behaviours and of other course topics
e) Demonstrated knowledge in EXCEL and Brock University's Sakai-Based Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent
