Your Opportunity:
The IT Analyst II - Mobility Technology & Services supports the mobile devices, applications, networks, and related technologies on a province wide basis to ensure mobility environments are operating effectively and efficiently. It ensures reliable operations of province wide responsibilities to assist with the achievement of operational processes and service activities. Resolves complex problems while working independently with minimal guidance by applying best practices and high level guidelines or policies. Designs, develops, tests, implements and maintains technical solutions of medium complexity. Takes a new perspective on existing information technology environments to find solutions to customer business needs. Leads projects with limited size, risk, complexity, potentially including responsibility for expenditure monitoring and cost control.There is flexibility as to the location of this position can be within the Calgary or Edmonton Zone. At the time of appointment the successful candidate may discuss location options with the hiring manager.
Description:
As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.
Required Qualifications:Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. Previous experience utilizing Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solutions an asset.
