Our client is seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic.

Are you passionate about heavy equipment and have a knack for solving complex mechanical problems? We are looking for a qualified heavy equipment mechanic to join our client's dynamic team As a heavy equipment mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and various heavy equipment. You will diagnose faults using state-of-the-art computerized testing equipment, adjust and replace defective parts, repair damaged equipment components, and perform routine services to keep our heavy vehicles in optimal condition.

What we offer:
Immediate start
Full-time permanent position
$34-40/hour
Normal working hours - from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (Monday to Thursday), Fridays until noon
Insurance offered after 3 months - 100% paid by the companyResponsibilities:
Inspect trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment.
Adjust equipment and replace defective parts.
Repair damaged equipment parts.
Clean, lubricate, and perform routine services on heavy vehicles.
Install surveillance cameras and fleet management devices.
Clean and maintain machine accessories such as winches, blades, and side arrows.
Occasional welding work.
Read drawings and schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Select and install mechanical components.
Perform major repairs if necessary.
Consult with other mechanics for minor jobs.
Report damaged or defective equipment to management.
Travel to sites, if necessary, to perform equipment repairs.Who you are:310T or 421A certification - an asset.
Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Proven work experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
Understanding of computerized testing and diagnostic technologies.
Ability to lift heavy machinery.
Thorough knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
Ability to work after hours if necessary.
Good communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
