We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.

Responsibilities:

Partner with the procurement team and business function teams to collect copies of all leases. Tracking leases with upcoming changes to ensure timely and accurate accounting of updates ( terminations and modifications). Generate the lease accounting schedules and review for accuracy. Supporting month-end and year-end close processes for leases and restructuring and preparing reconciliations for related balance sheet accounts. Accounting for lease terminations and modifications, as well as sublease accounting. Prepares or assists in preparation of schedules to be provided to the external and internal auditors. Responsible for lease accounting transactions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Finance/ CPA Candidate 4+ years of experience in the related field. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly. Previous experience with QuickBooks and Sage 300 will be an asset. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook. Ability to process large volume of invoices and payments, while prioritizing competing tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
