Senior Consultant, Marketing Research

TC Media Books is currently seeking a Senior Consultant for our Marketing Research department. The mandate will involve taking on a variety of research mandates (qualitative and quantitative) aimed at supporting the development of new digital and print products, from preschool to university.

Play a leading role in the development of our digital and print products, as well as in studies that have a major impact on the development of corporate strategy.

Work with editorial, sales, technology development and senior management teams in the development of various qualitative and quantitative studies.

Plan, coordinate and execute effectively all stages of assigned research projects from the development of the research proposal, to the creation of collection tools, facilitation, analysis, report writing and presentation of results to internal clients.

Conduct remote consultations and occasional evening focus groups in Montreal or Quebec City.

Maintain an active competitive watch to keep abreast of developments in our markets.



When your expertise drives us.


You enjoy questioning, listening, probing, and understanding customer needs to solve the problems associated with each of your research projects.

You have experience in quantitative and qualitative research.

You're ready to put your facilitation and writing skills to work in the service of research to develop better pedagogical works to meet the expectations of the new generation of teachers and students.

You have a good command of French and English, both spoken and written (English is required for collaboration with colleagues in the ESL division and discussion group facilitation).

You have a university degree in marketing, marketing research, sociology, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of the Quebec education sector is an asset.

You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
