RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications. Monitor work progress, quality, and safety on the construction site. Address and resolve any on-site issues promptly. Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance productivity and efficiency. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and safety protocols. Enforce and maintain quality control procedures to meet project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards. Develop and manage construction schedules in collaboration with project managers. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet project milestones and deadlines. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks. Evaluate subcontractor performance and adherence to project requirements. Enforce safety regulations and procedures on the construction site. Conduct regular safety meetings and audits to ensure a safe working environment. Act as a liaison between on-site personnel and project management. Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Uphold company culture and core values by adhering to Michels Canada's Standards and Policies and working with others to promote and preserve our values while conducting your duties to contribute to a positive and professional work environment. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS More than 5 years of related industry experience. CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) experience preferred. Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations. Ability to interpret and understand construction plans and specifications. Experience managing crews of 5-6 workers. Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. LANGUAGES Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English. BENEFITS
