Job Description

FLINT is actively searching for Journeyperson Electricians to join our dynamic team in Burnaby, BC, with an immediate start. As a valued member of FLINT, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing critical electrical components essential to our facilities and operations.

What would you be doing? 

Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain process instrumentation, communication networks, and control equipment, including flow computers, tank gauging systems, custody transfer metering, and associated equipment. Analyze, interpret and utilize the information in SCADA, LOI displays, and P ID drawings to ensure the safe operation of facilities. Supports programming and troubleshooting of Local Operator Interfaces and Programmable Logic Controllers. Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control equipment. Provide Instrumentation support and maintenance to ensure system reliability. Use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic testing devices to inspect and test instrument and system operation and diagnose. Repair, maintain and adjust system components or remove and replace defective parts.

Have a Journeyperson Electrician ticket.  Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees.  Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.  Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 , climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
