Driver Trainer

Voyago is hiring a Full-Time Driver Trainer for our Durham Transit Location

Your Role

• Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Driver Trainer is responsible for training/teaching employees how to drive all Company owned vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Completion of Driving Assessments
• Instruction of Voyago divisional training as required
• Outside instructional training programs as required by transit division manager

Requirements

Your profile

• You have a G or B class driver's license
• You possess a clean driving record and Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Yu have excellent customer service experience
• You have superior organization and communications skills
• You have availability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday (the occasional weekend)
• You have an understanding of vehicle for hire industry
• You have knowledge of wheelchair tie downs and q-straint
• You possess a clean driver’s abstract
• You have previous instructional / teaching experience
• You have previous Driver Assessment experience
• You are willing to attend and complete Professional Instructor in Driver Education (PRIDE) program or Equivalent (Voyago will cover cost of this certification and all costs associated)
• You are comfortable travelling to various Voyago locations across SouthWestern Ontario
