Position Summary
We are looking for a talented Associate Applications Engineer to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition, support, and revenue growth objectives at our Vaughan office.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provides product, application, service, and engineering information by answering questions and requests. Discuss technical applications with outside sales to help determine solutions for customers. Recommends products and solutions to customers based on their application requirement. In consultation with the Area Sales Managers, develops and maintains customer plans for the assigned territory based on target customers, key customers, and “dream” customers. Maintains records of customer communications and contact information in a Customer Relationship Management - CRM. Explores new market segments and product applications with a view to expanding the Company’s traditional client base. Works closely with the sales team to promptly follow-up on all sales leads. Manages customer relationships by communicating with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.Requirements
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.Preferred
Engineering Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.Permanent full-time position
