ABOUT THE TEAM

The performance team is the team of financial professionals who calculate all the performance of each asset traded/owned by PSP. We provide analytical reports to several groups to help them in their decision-making and monitoring of their strategy.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As an Intern, Performance Measurement and Analytics you’ll work closely with the team’s analysts and associates in conducting the following tasks:

Calculate the performance of all investment levels at PSP (portfolio, asset class, client total PSP)

Support the group on maintaining the performance system Statpro and GPS

Perform the required validations to ensure data quality in our calculations

Participate in streamlining processes managed by the Performance measurement team

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Attention to detail and rigorous approach to analysis and documentation

Ability to work collaboratively, cultivating meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients

Effective communications skills, both written and spoken

Drive to pursue excellence and challenge the status quo to seek out alternative perspectives

Eagerness to learn, ideate and innovate

Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills and understanding of the business to support the stakeholders

Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum

Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) ()

Candidates must have the right to work in Canada* for the period specified to be considered for this position. No support to obtain the right to work will be provided 

*Options include Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or a valid open work permit

This position is located at our Montreal offices.
