GSL Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to join our team in Suffolk. This role offers you the chance to provide essential support to students, promoting both academic and personal growth, all while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
Role & Responsibilities - General Cover Teacher:- Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy the ability to work on an ad-hoc basis, allowing for a flexible week-to-week schedule.
- Student Support: Be a vital source of support for students, helping to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Adaptability: Teach a variety of subjects, following the plans and using the resources provided by the class teacher.
- Behaviour Management: Maintain school behaviour policies to ensure a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
- Qualifications: Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Background Checks: Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure on the Update Service, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
- Experience: Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
- Legal Eligibility: Have the legal right to work in the UK.
