We are looking for an experienced financial analyst with in-depth knowledge of financial statement preparation and IFRS reporting to join a large Montreal company. This is an invaluable learning experience and the opportunity to take on a role that will propel you towards interesting challenges throughout your career.

Job title: Financial analyst - IFRS reporting
Duration: 12 months, possibility of internal mobility thereafter
Salary: Up to $90K/year
Location: Montreal downtown (hybrid)

Responsibilities
The financial reporting analyst will have, among other things, the following responsibilities:

- Participate in regulatory reporting with current laws;
- Collaborate in the preparation of the company's financial statements according to applicable standards;
- Prepare notes to the financial statements;
- Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
- Strengthen and improve the accounting and financial controls in place;
- Analyze the variation of accounts and highlight trends and significant variations;
- Propose solutions for better cost management;
- Participate in the analysis of special projects;
- All other related tasks.

Qualifications
We are looking for the following qualifications for this financial reporting analyst position:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- CPA or ACCA title, a major asset;
- Mastery of the application of IFRS or USGAAP accounting standards;
- Excellent command of English, both oral and written;
- Experience in the financial sector;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel: V and VBA search.
