Job Description

The House of Commons Digital Workplace Products and Services is currently looking to staff the Release Management Senior Analyst position.

Join our team as a Release Management Senior Analyst. In this role, you are accountable for providing senior specialist guidance and technical expertise in the implementation of the infrastructure and application of release management framework and processes, which are necessary to ensure the robustness and supportability of infrastructure and application for all product lines as well as their certification for operational deployment; this includes all activities relating to release and change planning, tracking, documentation, communication, training, and testing of infrastructure and application changes to the production and production test environments.

In order to ensure seamless delivery of services and operations, Digital Services and Real Property operates under a 24 7 support model. Depending on the support required, some work activities related to this role may require working irregular hours, overtime or providing on-call support to meet operational requirements. 

Qualifications

Education :

Graduation from a college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in the field of technology.

Experience :

Recent experience in a variety of infrastructure components and applications, including their association and functionalities in supporting client services in the broad areas of information technology; Recent experience with infrastructure and application change management in the production and production test environments, including the end-to-end aspects of infrastructure and application release planning, testing, stabilization and certification; Experience in architecture, design and development of enterprise-class business applications; Experience in a wide range of tools and technologies in complex environment; Experience in analysing and improving processes.
