What does a Security Guard in Winnipeg do?

Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized persons  Excessive foot patrols (interior/exterior)  Responding to tenant requests Emergency Response Monitor closed circuit cameras Coordinate response to incidents Respond to telephone calls received by the security department Incident and daily reporting according to the site requirement and standards. High level customer service to all customers and tenants  Removal of unauthorized individuals 

Qualifications to be become Security Guard in Winnipeg?

Valid Permanent Manitoba Security Guard license Fluent in English, both written and orally High school education or equivalent Strong customer service skills Experience using a two way radio. Strong computer based skills Ability to collaborate effectively in a team enviroment Comfortable approaching individuals and de-escalating situations Criminal justice or police foundations diploma is an asset  Be eligible to work in Canada First Aid/CPR would be an asset
